Out With it Now
This is truth. This is me.
This is here, now, the windows are clean.
Glance inside. Peer. Stare.
Fixate on me listen up good, and care.
From inside your heart the world looks great
But there’s no way out. I’ll suffocate.
What a nice double standard we’re wearing today.
Hand me your baggage, your handfuls of trash,
And hope that I won’t give it back.
Will you just tap the glass? Will watch and not feed?
Glance inside. Peer. Stare.
Fixate on me listen up good, and care.
Don’t sigh and don’t cry. This’ll all be over soon.
Hell hath no fury like a boy- on the phone- in his room.
I leave me alone to brood.
Say it soft, say it smooth.
It’s kicking and screaming
Say it fierce, say it cruel.
Don’t make me hurt you.
By saying I love you.
Don’t make me hurt you.
I’ll say that I love you.
Lock your one sided door.
What a nice double standard we’re wearing today.
Hand me your baggage, your handfuls of trash,
And hope that I won’t give it back.
